Using a Long Action Center Feed stock with my Long Action Stagger Feed Rifle

Looking to upgrade the stock on my older Top bolt release flat rear base long action receiver.

Will a long action center feed stock work?

How about long action stock with detachable box magazine?

Buddy has a 220 slug gun stock, will that work?

Yes you can use a LA Centerfeed stock, but you will have to modify the front of the magazine inlet in the stock for the blind magazine to fit. Trying to make a Staggered feed action into a DBM will take some machining on the bottom of the action, if I remember correct. I've never tried it.

Just used some wood chisel's and a Dremel tool to do it -



The magazine box fits just fine -



Finished product after finishing the outside of the stock with 10 coats of hand rubbed Tung Oil.
