Hello from New Jersey

l'm new to this site but nor to guns l have been shooting since the mid 50s, Sad to say but at this time l don't own a Savage rifle, 5 years ago l sold my last Savage it was 112V J action single shot 26" barrel in 22-250, that l bought new in 1976 it's pictured in my avatar.
l have to get my son to join this sight he just bought a Savage 12 LRPV in 223 beast of a rifle only want to use it for target shooting, it only took him 50 years to get into owning a rifle.

Here is a picture of me in 1976 up state NY chuck hunting with my Savage, l wish l still had my 1967 Ford wagon, that was my SUV back then air shocks on all four controlled, with air pump controlled from in side the car.

Thanks for the welcome, l have a son in Buffalo NY it's real nice there is that north west? the picture was taken in Goshen NY there was some nice chuck fields there as you can see in the background.

Welcome from across the river in the still free State, Pennsylvania. I don’t know how any firearms enthusiast today can stand being in NJ? I don’t even like visiting family over there… it’s BAD! Respect for the Constitution, 2A and having Conservative values, it would be too hard on me. I’m counting the days until Pa becomes traitorous… and I’m outta here!

Yes, North West is pretty much it. I do most of my shooting in the Southern tier here, down in Friendship.
