I am wanting to rebarrel (and rebore...while keeping my original) my Savage Lightweight Hunter and have found a 20" Axis barrel. Do you know if the Axis Compact barrel is a regular contour just cut to 20 or is this the same lighter barrel as the Lightweight Hunter?
