    Back from my water buffalo hunt


    Well, the 458 win mag had a successful maiden voyage. 40yd quartering on shot. Broke the front shoulder, did the three legged hop, then fell over. Heart shot. 350gr Barnes triple shock at 1900fps worked. Recovered bullet weighed 245grs.

    Very nice, congrats! Looks cold, where were you hunting?
    It's better to shoot for the moon and hit the fencepost than to shoot for the fencepost and hit the ground!

    Impressive. Did you hunt with KTO? That bullet looks like the Barnes from my last Elk, shot at 400 yards in 7 Rem Mag.
