The thin bolt raceway on my receiver is bent to the point where the bolt binds. I've tried to bend it back but I think it's a complex bend (out and up), and there is no way I can see to grip it properly to bend it back. It's out of line by maybe 1/32 of an inch or so, but that's enough. I pulled the barrel, and, of course, the bolt is fine. Anybody have a "parts gun" or a spare action (stripped, or with trigger assby) they can part with?
Did you happen to take the barrel off without using an action wrench? Have seen it happen to others when removing a tight factory barrel.
Also, the best way to go about this is to place a want to buy ad in out classifieds, as that is really the designated place for your post.
