    New Barrel and Chassis

    Good morning

I am starting my adventure with my Savage 110e to replace barrel and stock. The first gen savage short action stock options are not as readily available. If you have any input on 1st gen short action to new stock please 🙏 reach out.

If you have the 4.522 action screw spacing, You will probably find one at Boyds.
The Dunning-Kruger effect is alive and well.

So, Boyd’s has almost every style in the 1st Gen Short Action. Edit: Below you can choose the “Build & Price” drop down and choose the criteria for the 110 1st Gen Short Action with 4.5” screw spacing, Blind Mag.

I think pretty new. I’ve been researching Boyd’s like the last several months. But I hadn't visited their site in the past few years. The last time I was there a few years ago, I don’t remember them being this elaborate. I think they have added a great deal in the last few years.

I’ll say this… the At-One stock in the “Pepper Laminate” is a winner! Great looking piece!

After having installed a bunch of adjustable combs and adjustable but pads, the At One Stock from Boyds is done at a great price point. It is a good buy. I have to differ some from Dave on the "Great looking piece" though. I will admit in some of the milder color selection of laminate the appearance and appeal improves.
