    Peterson Brass??

Anyone have experience with it? Thinking ahead, I'll be coming up on >20 reloads on my current Lapua brass this summer and will need to replace it. I don't see many in-stock options for SRP brass other than Peterson.

I use Peterson brass in 284Win. I, and others have found it has less internal case volume than Lapua brass. I had to reduce powder charge 1 1/2grns to equal the same pressure in Lapua. When changing brass, it’s best to do a new load development.

Good brass, and as mentioned, it's heavier then most. I shoot and wild cat 284 Norma brass,
and in comparison, the Peterson brass scales heavier and a bit harder to FL size. I think the
extra weight is down in the base and probably why shooters claim good primer pocket life.

Yes it is good brass. I have it in 6.5CM and 7BR and am quite pleased with it.

Thanks for the input. I've got 100 unused Lapua SRP cases and hope I can find 100 more before I need to swap. If not, I'll look at the Peterson brass.
