Welcome to the forum from Western NY !
Just signed up. I am a hunter and have recently been shooting more. I have recently started putting together my own rifles. I found this site when I was looking for a cure for a light primer strike on a savage axis. I bought a 22-250 and shot it some, then changed the barrel to 22 creedmoor. Never had any misfires as a 22-250, and I am using 22-250 brass to fire form creedmoor. I think the misfires are frome the difference in chambers but have ordered 22 creedmoor brass and should find out when the rain stops.

My apologies Hoghead. Never saw your post. Welcome to our camp!
Welcome to the group. I had light strike problems with my Axis (now a 450 Bushmaster) and solved it by replacing the springs.

Gacop, are you talking about the firing pin spring? I finally got some head stamped brass and need to load some to see if that fixes it. If it doesn't, I will definitely start there. Thanks.
