    Ultralight broken trigger guard

I was checking my action screw torque setting and I found the front of the trigger guard by the front action screw was broken on both sides where it thins down. I’ve already ordered a stainless steel replacement from the Gun Shack, but it’s just irritating that a rifle that retails for over $1500 has such cheap plastic parts in places that are under a moderate amount of stress. I really like this rifle in 280 AI, but there’s been some disappointing things with it.

Yeah, it sucks the way plastic flows. then you have to continue to tighten the screw until bam. You have the right solution now.
The Dunning-Kruger effect is alive and well.
