Hello! First post here. I have been checking this new to me site out since Specility Pistol’s “retired “. Thank you; to the host and members for building a spot.
Has anyone heard from Jim Rockwell? I ordered a stock from him for a 700 last summer sometime. Have called a couple times this month and haven’t heard back. Not a problem; but, he has been so good to get back to a guy.
Just wondering if anyone has talked to him lately. Thank you.

I just figured he went out of business during Covid and took a loss

before I retired….I got tired of his crap….constant excuses….
he never met his own deadlines
plus we are sitting at over 50% stock breakage rate.
Good to know, But real sad I was looking forward to having a stock set made in dandelion the green yellow, He is an older guy and we do slow down even when we think were still capable we ain't

Last I heard anything, Junior blocked Senior for calling him out on not following thru.

First post on here after the move also.
I have been working on an XP100 build. I ordered a stock from him the first of August 2022. It took almost five months, but I now have it.
Nutmeg Laminate, Satin Finish, Right Hand, with two extra inches of forend. It took a few months longer than expected, but it looks very good.

Dan, I know absolutely nothing about this order. I have reviewed all of my orders and I see nothing. I am going to guess that based on the time frame you were dealing with my dad (AKA SP Stocks and Grips). I heard from Jim. I didn’t expect my order for awhile I was just checking. I am not bad mouthing or complaining. Everyone is off the grid for awhile- I wish I could be more. I didn’t want to be negative.
