Muzzle break

I formerly owned a 26 Nosler and now own a 6.5 PRC both made by Christensen Arms. I still have the muzzle break from the 26 Nosler and was wondering if it would work on the 6.5 PRC. Same bullets, same gun manufacturer, screws on no problem. Should be able to use it, correct?
