So a family member has a model 1899 in .30-30 Winchester in fair condition that they want to sell. I have pictures but they are of poor quality so i don't think they would be of any help, no bluing, some pitting, furniture has dent's, scratches, and little finish . The serial number puts the date of manufacture at 1907. Also it is functioning, It has been recently fired... but I have no idea of bore condition. My question for the esteemed members of this forum are...
Where on the rarity/scarcity scale is a .30-30 1907 model 1899?
BALL PARK estimate of one in fair/functional condition ASSUMING reasonable bore condition...
Less than $500?
More than $500?
Again, the pictures are of such low quality, they would not be of any help.
