Single shot or mag feeding?
Well I started my winter project tonight, I am going to reechamber my 22BR in to a 22 waldog. I started by making a form die out of an old 22/250 die, and I formed a few cases. I was surprised how much smaller the waldog looks to the PPC. Here is a picture of the 22 waldog beside a 6PPC, of course the round needs fireformed to be a true waldog.

Anyone here ever play with a waldog, or a 22 short PPC? What advise would you give? Thanks

Single shot
Interesting round. Barrel life should be real good. What twist rate have you settled on?

I think Cale (caroby) shots a 22PPC-0.100 for group and has been pretty successful in a couple of BR matches with in. One of his shooting buddies (Rex Reneau) still holds the world record in 100 yd HV group with a 22PPC-0.1 if my memory is correct. Cale either shoots that or a 22PPC. Make his own bullets. Rockin little 52s.
Luck, Tim
Interesting case. What is the powder capacity? With a 1:14 twist you should be able to get good performance up to 50 grain bullets.
