    Been a while...

Just realized it has been quite a few months since my last visit. Made a couple of updates to my 110 Apex Hunter .308.

Swapped the tiny bolt knob to the "Tactical" Knob. That name a huge difference in the operational efficiency of running the Bolt.

Second was installation of a Matthews Fabrication Kydex cheek riser.

Lastly I learned about eye relief, so I set my scope back a couple of slots on the pic rail.

I have yet to re-zero after the scope move. Hoping after Christmas to have some extra cash to spend on a few Bowes Federal Sierra Match King. Until then, dry fire, dry fire, dry fire...

Anyways, couple of pictures from the family photo shoot in my backyard.

Great pics! Increasing leverage on the bolt handle makes a huge difference. Always among the first things I recommend. I picked up one of the Lumley Titanium Handles for my Model 10, but actually machined my own Titanium Bolt Knob. Because Titanium… yum!

Nice looking rig and great pics. Those longer easier to grab handles do make a noticeable difference. I have been making/modifying my own for years. Always one of the best initial upgrades IMHO.

I THOUGHT I had a good cheek weld on my 110 Storm...then, just to have something to do, I took the cheek pad off my 17HMR and strapped it on my 110. Now I have comb pads on BOTH my rifles!
