In the process of trying to get a Savage 110 Elite Precision with black cerakote chassis (I was trying to work thru the Savage Custom Order Dept) I was directed to the above site....which looks like a very elaborate scam as I have only been able to complete an order paying in Bitcoin/Cryptocurrency and can't seem to order any specific caliber or input any details until I cough up Bitcoin.

is this site legit or is it indeed a scam site? I am in contact via Email with the supposed Support folks of this site. Thanks in Advance!

Edit: Never mind - just talked to the actual Savage Custom Orders department and the site listed above is a scam - known to Savage but apparently they have been unsuccessful at shutting them down yet. Pretty shocking to me - I must be a rube for sure.

My #1 rule for ordering from any online business....

If it's a company I've never heard of before and/or have never ordered from before, the first thing I do is look for their phone number and address on their website. If both aren't readily available on their homepage or a "Contact" page I won't do business with them. If it is listed, you can do secondary checks various ways (Google Maps, BBB, Yelp, check if business name is registered in that state, their local chamber of commerce, etc.).

Gotta do your due-diligence in this day and age.
