2010 Whitetail buck with Savage 210F slug gun

Small little 9 Pointer........... But this gun is the funnest hunting firearm ive owned, Buck comes across opening chasing a doe..... Savage goes Boom ! Buck is picked up off all 4 legs from the ground..... and body slammed to the earth. Then it got up and ran. I dont know how it managed that. Blew the heart right apart, I had to flip the buck around for pics as it was just not a Kodak moment on the Exit side. The 12 gauge 3 inch mag slugs did the job and then some. Not a big buck, but im not an antler hunter either, unless of course a Big racked bugger showed itself. Note to hunters who go solo.... bring collapsible tripod for your camera like i do for pics.

That doesn't look like a small buck to me - Look at the neck on that thing. What state are you hunting?

It is amazing what damage deer can take and still get up and run away.

May be a big body but the rack is small. Im in Alberta , Canada. this buck was taken right outside Edmonton.

you need to come down south to see little deer. i'll bet that deer weighs close to 200 pounds where our big deer here in south arkansas are only 125 or so. down here that is a wall hanger.
