Single shot and mag cut out?

Made my dog rifles dedicated single shots and was wondering what people do with their
    mag cut outs?
Thought about filling with weight to help balance with the truck axles I run.
Has anyone put a mercury reducer in and what were the results with the round being
    used?

Re: Single shot and mag cut out?

I have a few rifles with single shot adaptors. In most cases I just leave the magazine well in the stock empty. Normally I do add weight to the stock to help balance, but I start adding weight to the buttstock first. I have only one rifle that filled the magazine well with weight. In that case adding weight to the buttstock and grip wasn't enough to get to the total weight and balance that I wanted so I also filled the magazine well.

My two are single shot receivers. I think they are more solid and smoother but did have a repeater and used the single shot follower with good success.
