Savage internal magazine?

Are the 308 family magazines and the 22-250 magazines different widths? I screwed together a 22-250 using a mdl 11 308 donor rifle. The problem is when I load four rounds in the magazine the bottom three hang up and won't push up to feed. If I load three it feeds fine. It works fine with four 308 family cases.

the lips are bent different. can you compare to your .308?

I’ve looked at photos and confirmed with Savage they are different. The lips are definitely different but I don’t know about the width. No one has the 22-250 mags in stock.

I went the other way and .308 feeds fine from my "axis style" plastic tab 22-250 mag.
