    Trigger Adjustment

I just got around to stripping down the new .270 110C that I recently bought used. DOM is 1974 and after cleaning the rifle is slam firing when I close the bolt. It didn't do it proir to cleaning. I just blasted the trigger assemby with gun scrubber, so I did not move any of the screws.

My question is, can someone point me to documentation on how to adjust the trigger and tighten up the trigger. If I close the bolt very easily it won't fire and the trigger is noticibly lighter. Just would like to know how to adjust it or should I take it to a gun smith? I was going to take it to the range tomorrow and fire it, but not now. Thanks for any help!!!

    Re: Trigger Adjustment

Do some searching on this site as there are instructions for adjusting the three screw triggers. Not hard just need little patience and time too get it right.

    Re: Trigger Adjustment

I have the same trigger as in this thread http://savageshooters.com/SavageForu...c,37386.0.html can it be adjusted? If it is a decent trigger I'll keep it, if not I'll do an after market.
