Question Model 10 SA modifications

I purchased a Model 10 SA in .243, top bolt release, blind magazine, staggerfeed, action screw spacing of 4.275. The last model 10 I bought with a blind magazine I bought a Bell & Carlson varmint tactical stock for it and just used the blind magazine the way it was. I'm interested in converting this one to have a DBM if thats possible? I've noticed my options for stocks seem limited with my action screw spacing and the staggerfeed. I've never messed with bottom metals or modifying stocks but I'm not afraid to if I have to. I like Bell & Carlson, Boyds, and saw that Magpul is coming out with a hunter stock for the Savage 110 early this year per their website. Any help or a point in the right direction would be great!

Stocks are available. And yes, you can swap to DBM. Something like this https://www.eurooptic.com/CDi-Precis...I-Stagger.aspx or this https://atlasworxs.com/shop/atlaswor...l-10-11-12-sa/ would work. Remember: anything to do with an aftermarket stock & DBM will require inletting the stock.

The option listed above to convert 4.27" staggerfeed actions to DBM by CDI Precision is no longer an option. CDI went out of business with the passing of its owner Jeff Allen in August 2019.

Dave Hoback Assuming I buy that Atlas Worxs bottom metal: when I go to buy an aftermarket stock I would pick the option that has top bolt release and a detachable mag then correct?

Yes, that is correct. If you have trouble, don’t hesitate to call the manufacture of whatever stock you’re looking at.
