I know you cant shoot it due to the weather, but you may wanna atleast try to run some real ammo thru it(at the range or in a safe place of course) to make sure it will eject them. I dont knwo if Id trust the snap caps even though they should eject.

That way you know NOW whether you have an issue or not.

I have a few snap caps too, and they do and don't eject all the time. I am not exactly sure why, but no big deal to me. Keep practicing though!!

If you reload or know someone who does, it's not a bad idea to make some dummy loads for testing purposes, blacken them with a marker so you know that they are not loaded rounds.
I too am in Idaho, and there has been more snow so far this year than all of last year.
By the way, whats a firing range. We don't have any nearby. Our range is a cow pasture. Makes it a little rough when it's snowing or the snow is deep :-X

That's kinda weird that the snap caps didn't function correctly. Good for you for checking into that. I really like the sounds of these rifles so I'll look forward to any range report you make.

had a little time to shoot yesterday before snow came, after zero at 100 yards using a centerpoint 4-16x40 scope, hit 3 coffee cans at 300,400,and finally 600 yards using the mildots. I can only imagine the accuracy with a better scope.{saving up for that}that is with a bi-pod and 168 grain hsm berger bullets from cabelas.all i can say is wow.

FYI, I know this is an old thread. But I thought I'm mention my 308 10 PC ejects snap caps just as well as live ammo. Haven't had a problem thus far.

My wife surprised me big time. I found out that she has been saving some fundage for me... $500.00 to go toward some new glass for the 10PC!! Way back when, I had a Nightforce and had to sell it. I am not going to spend the funds on a new one... but I am throwing the cash down on a Vortex PST!!

Yeah, I can't hardly wait to get it all together!!
