Not using the bottom metal, however, I have used several other parts from Dave Kiff. I’ve found his products to have exceptional quality, fit & finish. And I’m just a guy...I have no dog in any fight.
Anyone using the PTG AICS bottom metal and have any feedback?
Can't find much chatter about it online and reviews are mixed at MidwayUSA.

I ordered two of them last year. I sent them and the Boyd's stocks I bought to SSS for inletting early this year. Fred's service was great. The bottom metal does sit deeper in the stock than flush but I think that's due to the proud profile of the Boyd's stocks. I did also have to order shorter front action screws. Once installed the sear would not release and I traced the problem to the lack of a relief cut at the front of the trigger guard. To PTG's credit, they offered to fix the issue, even though it was well over a year after I ordered them. I sent them in, but have been playing email tag with their rep since August, and still don't have them back. Sooooo, YMMV.
