    Chambering problem

I always thought my Axis fed better than the other rifles I have but I loaded some Speer 52 grain hollow point varmint bullets and if I load 4 in the magazine it jams every time. If I load only one at a time it feeds perfectly. I have tried this several times and it always jams if there are 2 or more in the magazine. Anyone else have anything like this? Every other bullet, from 52 grain to 77 grain, Hornady,
Sierra, Nosler, even other Speer 52 grain bullets feed very well, only this particular one gives trouble.

Can you mic the bullets? Maybe they are bigger than .224?

I am sure they are 224. What I can't understand how it feeds perfectly if you have just one in the magazine. Two or more and it jams every time.

Where/how does it jam? Bullet hit the face of the barrel? High or low?

I will try to reload more rounds tonight the same as what was giving me problems and see if I can determine the problem. I managed to shoot all of the rounds by loading them one at a time in the magazine. I should have saved a couple to check after I came in. Seems so odd they will feed perfectly one at a time. but two or more always jam.

I have not tried that bullet. Mine has always fed well from the mag, even the 77gn SMK's that barely fit in the mag. And I load FIVE rounds in the magazine.

I have two Axis', one in 30-06 and another in 6.5 Creedmoor and they feed very well.
Can you post some pics showing the feeding problem?
