My fox-se was one that was sold in Canada under the CIL brand. I cannot find any information on when Savage began sending rebranded Foxes to Canada. Can anyone shed some light on this Thanks

Is there a serial number or a date code on the shotgun anywhere? A date code is usually an oval stamp with 1 or 2 numbers followed by a letter inside of it.

Thanks there is a serial# but it starts with HSG and I can't find any ser#'s on file that have three letters so it may have been specific to CIL and not done by Savage although it does not look like it was an add on
