Hi all, first time poster so I hope it's in the right spot..
I have recently purchased on old 340C from my LGS & when I load the magazine it feeds the first round with no issue, cycle the 2nd round & it fails to feed (appears to coming in at too steep of an angle) & the same with the 3rd round. However the 4th round with cycle perfectly !!
Has anybody experienced this issue ? Mag has been stripped & cleaned, no irregular burrs were detected on any faces that may cause obstruction.

The early versions is this model were Stevens 325. Pretty sure I read online that the magazines for the savage required modification for use in the Stevens version of the rifle. This could be something your dealing with?
