    Left Hand single shot

    Hi there
I'm new to the forum from Australia and am currently enjoying my first Savage a model 12FLV 223 which is a tackdriver

Question is I shoot Palma over here and was wondering if Savage make a single shot action in left hand. I have looked at their site and it only lists right hand bolts
    Any help appreciated

    Nick

not currently that I am aware of. If you have a smith that likes projects, you could make one. left hand bolt, notch in the left hand side of the receiver and re-cut the lug ramps to start on the opposite direction.

I may be wrong, but I thought there was a left hand single shot magazine follower available.

Yes...they do. You can order an LRPV with a left bolt, right port/right eject.

Depends what action you're working with. Single shot follower in a lefty SF or a single shot sled from SSS in a CF. Just put one on my Lefty CF. Works slick.

Thanks for the replies and info
I was more interested in the target rifle or action that has jusr a slot big enough to fit a cartridge.
We currently have 1 member using (and cleaning up the competition) 1 member just about finished a stock build and another waiting for a complete rifle to arrive. All right hand
Main action bought new is Barnard but at $1850 for action only the Savage is becoming popular at half the price
