What height rings, and base? question.

Hi!,

I finally got my brother to buy a Stevens rifle. I think it's a new Stevens 200 in .308Win.

He wants to use a Ken Farrel one piece base with Tactical Precision Systems TSR rings, to mount a 4-16x42mm Nikon Monarch SF.

What ring height should he order? And what model gun on the base?

If I am not mistaken the Stevens line is comprised of the older flat rear receiver. Someone correct me if this is not correct.

The ken Farrell base is higher than your typical weaver bases but functions the same meaning you shouldn't need as much ring height. I am using the Burris Extreme Tactical bases with low mount Weaver quads in 30mm and they clear a 44mm. objective. http://i1109.photobucket.com/albums/...s/DSC_0023.jpg
