Yes, greeting to you from Stalag Michigan.
So like a few others I see, I came across a Sears Ranger 22 pump, alias Savage model 29. At an estate sale in Norther Michigan.
Cute little thing that had been used and abused, bad hygene habits and poor storage locations. Couldn't just let it go to the dump,
even though it was a basket case that owner had partially taken apart and was sanding on it to remove some of the pitting . . .
bad pitting ! Luckily the wood is healthy no cracks, gouges, but discolored to black, that not all is going to come out.

Well that's where i'm at, will finish based how the rust and pitting removal goes, but "don't touch" any markings !
Have no idea when it was made. Has an older peep sight behind the hammer, round barrel, says "ranger" on the receiver side,
metal buttplate.

Will have to request from those in the know here, where to get this and that . . . and how to assemble and what might be missing. . . . its like a good mystery novel.
I usually play with FAL, which are bigger and heavier.

Thanks, and to all be safe out there !
