How can one buy a new Savage bolt?

I'm rebarreling my 12BR to a magnum caliber, the .25WSSM, that uses the 0.532" case-rim size.. I didn't know before yesterday that 'all' the 110-series actions including the 12 use the 'same'-length bolt.. Rather than asking a friend to replace the bolthead (and switch the extractor, ejector, firingpin, etc.), I thought I could buy a new complete bolt asssembly.. I called a few weeks ago and the parts dept. said they would NOT sell me a new bolt assembly.. After learning the 'all-the-same' factoid mentioned above, I've decided I want one as close-looking as my original, and that turns into the 110 Apex Storm XP, which is available in several .532"-magnum calibers.

Anyone have an 'in' with Savage or know how to buy one of these?

How come you don’t want to just replace the bolt head?

If your set on replacing the whole bolt, check on eBay. But like "Nontypical" said "why don't you replace the bolt head"?

You can buy the parts to make one from Gun Shack-

    https://www.gunshack.com/savage-parts

Midway, Brownells, and PTG are also places to find parts.

I got one from Numrich. Changing the bolt head back and forth just adds another variable. And, the cost of the parts is 3/4 the cost of a complete bolt. I believe in KISS.

Isn’t the 25 WSSM based off a 300 WSM? Would this work?

Indeed.. I want a complete bolt to replace mine so that I'll have two.. I'm too old and fumble-fingered to dis- and reassemble tiny parts in boltheads.. Will call them about this one.
