This should help.... If they're the correct rings.

Getting ready to clean the scope mounting bolts/screws on my new .308 110. I've read through the Vortex booklets that came in the packaging. No info given, that i saw. Does anyone happen to know the torque specs for the rings?

I remember reading somewhere that Vortex issued a warning about over torquing ring screws. As I recall, 17 in lbs was the max otherwise the erectors will lock up inside the scope. Having personally experienced this, I can attest to the warning. Also try to not have the turret close to the rings.
Banning a gun will not solve what is a mental health crisis inflamed by incendiary rhetoric on social and television media. The first amendment in this case is less precious and more likely the causal factor than the second amendment.
I left the scope in the factory position, since it is dead on perfect for me. I removed, cleaned and blue loc-tited each bolt, one at a time. I also popped the action out and the trigger at it's lowest weight. Hoping to test it later this week.

My Vortex rings have the torque listed on them.
