    Left-hand 7.62x39mm?

Has Savage ever made a left-hand 7.62x39mm? I'm thinking that a 110 or a 10 could make for a nice compact one -- maybe a Scout -- but it doesn't appear such an animal exists. Maybe convert an existing left-hand gun? Any ideas on this?

    Thanks,
    Whisper

I think you'll have to go the lefty short action build route. I had a Commercial Mauser action barreled in that caliber and it was a tack driver.

The more I read, the more I'm thinking you might be correct: Buy a left-hand short action and then find a stock and 7.62x39 barrel. Too bad those barrels aren't a little easier to come by....
