Savage MSR 15 224 Valkyrie Barrel nut removal for barrel change

Hello all,

i am going to change out the Savage MSR 15 224 valkyrie barrel for a faster twist. Can anyone offer any guidance into removing the barrel nut and then the barrel before i dig in? Thanks

that did it, thank you. next will be removing this gas tube from the gas block. as expected it does not use the simple pin to retain the tube in the block.
