    New Savage MK11 BRJ

    Hi,

Just getting back into shooting after many years. Actually spent some time in USA this year and as everyone knows it is so easy to shoot there.
Got the bug again. And have purchased a MK11BRJ .22.
What an awsome rifle. Out of the box - mounted a Nikko 4-16x44AO Gameking - laser set it and went to the range.
5 shots sighting at 50 metres and it is putting all rounds into a .5 inch area with Federal match.
What is it going to be like when I get used to it and sight it properly.

It will shoot even better than that after about a brick of ammo has been shot through it.

Mine shot in the low .4" range and after I had my gunsmith do an accuracy job, iit has shot a best of .117", 5 shots @ 50 yards.

The Savage rimfires are really fantastic shooters, especially for the price.

Try the Wolf match ammo. It's reasonable in price and just about every Savage I've seen seems to like it the best. All rifles are different, so it may not be the best in your rifle, but I'm beting it just might be.
    Enjoy ;D
