220 Swift or???
What is the length of your firing pin protrusion? How deep are the primers seated? (both questions if this is a 220 Swift)
Anyone else having problems with their 220 misfiring? Mine is doing it about 10% of the time. I get a light primer strike. Every time I've gotten ignition on the second try.
I've read that this is not an uncommon problem. Just wondering if there is a fix or is it a trip back to Savage?

Sorry dcloco....should've specified it is Savage 220 Slug gun.....
I believe it was site member "Trappst" who had the same problem you were having. IIRC the problem was not enough firing pin protrusion and I think he noticed the pin was actually broken off.
Best bet is to call Savage.(If you can measure the protrusion to let them know what it is that would help also).
