At the end of January I bought a used LH mdl 11 in 308 to build a walking around coyote/groundhog rifle. I already have a FVSS in 22-250 but it weighs 11 pounds and is to much to tote around. So I ordered a 24" Shilen SS Select Match, 22-250, 1-12 twist in a varmint contour. It weighs 8lbs 10oz with a 3-9 Vortex Crossfire II. It will be getting a Leupold 6.5-20 with a Varmint Hunters reticle hopefully next week.

For the barrel break in I shot up some stuff I'd loaded to test in the other rifle but never did. also tried five rounds of the mdl 12's favorite. Long story it didn't care much for the Sierra 55gr Gamekings that shoot so well in the other rifle. It did like the Nosler Custom Competition 52 gr. The best group was 5 shots that measured .510" outside to outside, it shot several groups less than 3/4" out side too. I'll continue to shoot up this stuff to get it gone then start working up loads.

I can't post photos.
