Getting ready to swap a 308 bolt head to a 223 bolt I have.
Looking at them both the 223 has a longer extractor than the 308 bolt I already have for another rifle. Searching for extractors seems like no one differentiates between the two. Can this longer extractor be used on the 308 bolt head swap or do I need a different piece? I searched and searched but seems like everyone just offers an extractor with no distinction on length or bolt head size. Thanks.
