    Savage Stealth 223-16” inch barrel

Just wondering if anyone here has a Stealth BA 223 with the 16” inch barrel?
What is the twist rate on these and how well do the short barrels shoot??

I had the left handed version of this rifle for about a year and half before I sold it. It had a 9 twist barrel and shot very well with 52-55 gr bullets. It shot OK but not as well with 69 gr bullets although I never worked that hard to find a good 69 gr load. It produced velocities about 150 fps slower than my 24" and 26" barrels.

I didn't like the butt stock it came with and replaced it with a Magpul PRS which improved things a lot. It was a nice rifle but I found that I didn't care for the left hand bolt with the Savage heavy lift. I put one of my right hand bolt Savages in the chassis for a while and really enjoyed shooting it.

The model I’m looking for must have been discontinued. I think it’s a 22847. Only 20”inches now. Gotta Find one!
