I used a little JB Weld and a center punch. So far so good.
So I've got an older model 110 .30-06 with a two piece sear. The problem is that the lever portion of the sear that you depress to remove the bolt has come off the shorter of the two pins that it was attached to. After pressing it back on, it worked itself off again.
Not really seeing a permanent fix other than peening or possibly tack welding it onto the pin.
Any other ideas?

Well....I had planned on fixing it, but the guy who owns the rifle decided he wants the sear replaced instead of being repaired.
So far it's like trying to find a unicorn.
He may need to adjust his expectations a little bit, but as I am not involved my opinion means nothing.
