I'm no expert, but I don't see why not. As long as you can find the bolt face you need. The mag well would be the biggest issue that I could see, as i'm not sure if you can find a 223 mag well. Never tried it, but I suppose you could.
Does anyone know if i can get a 223ai to feed from a long action SF action?

I have a a 223 bolt head already.
I am not to familar with SF actions. How do the magboxes attach to the action?
Stagger feed actions have the mag box attached with tabs on the box that fit machined slots in the bottom of the receiver. I'm waiting on a 223AI barrel from Sinarms that I will be using on a 110 staggerfeed action. I'm going the single shot follower route due to the use of long seated 80 and 82 grain Bergers.

Thats not a bad idea but i was hoping hoping to make a repeater to use for coyote hunting. I may just stick to the long action.
Does anyone know if a 22-250 will feed form a 30-06 box?
Now that would be a good trick! The single shot follower would eliminate the question of whether or not it would feed. I'm pretty sure that the 22-250 is shorter than the 30.06 so it should. Again I'm no expert, but if memory serves it should work just fine.
As was previously stated, a staggerfeed mag box attaches to the action. You would just need to get a single shot follower.
I just change a clip fed 111 30-06 to a stagger feed box on a BVSS stock & picked up a Score-High single shot from MIdway Ifit is a center feed check with Sharp Shooter Supply for their single shot follower.
