Won a savage .243! So here I am

Hey everyone! I won a savage axis xp .243 at a gun raffle for $25! It's a nice little rifle and fits my needs perfectly. I have an 18" arp 6.8spc barrel I'd like to swap on to it and have a cool little custom rifle.

Thanks for the add and I'm looking forward to seeing how this goes.

Welcome from Georgia! Interesting caliber for a bolt action. I played with it on the AR platform back in 2000. It will be interesting to hear how it performs from a bolt action.
