    Anyone have a 19H?

I've always wondered how they shoot. Still kicking myself for letting a nice one on Gunbroker get away a few years ago.

Judging by the one I had years ago, you didn’t miss much.

No matter what handload I fed it, it couldn’t match my 1939 M70 Winchester, nor my 1956 Winchester M43 delux.

    Really?

I always pictured having one with a big Fecker scope hanging off the top. The M70 sounds pretty sweet.

    yeah, it is . . . . .

This M70 is of the vintage that requires .223” dia. bullets . . . .not the now-standard, .224”.

My old Savage M19H also used .223”.

    The M43 Winchester uses .224”.

    It’s ALL fun!!

Curious that the Savage didn't perform. Twist rate perhaps?
