    New to Forum and Savage

I have been shooting pistols, shotguns and rifles for years, plinking and hunting. I reload mostly for plinking and hunting, but lately, I have been thinking about long range shooting. Just ordered a Savage 10T-SR in .308 and came here to learn and hopefully help others in the future if I can.

    Angry Utterly Frustrated

I have had a 212 slug gun in right hand bolt for several years and have been very satisfied killing several deer with the fiream. The new LH 220 however has been a nightmare nothing has been right with this purchase. The accu-trigger would not adjust below 4lbs, barrel did not fit in stock properly, accu stock parts missing from box, could not inject shells from clip without jamming. I don't know how this firearm made it out of factory QC in this condition? Customer service support on warranty repair has been terrible, no call backs, firearm was at the test fire range for two weeks with no status. I will fortunately be getting my money back from the dealer. Needless to say, I will not be buying another Savage 220 anytime soon or recommending to anyone else. I am a left hander and was very anxious to get guns that fit me. The 110 storm so far is a quality gun shooting 1" groups at 100 yards. I was told by several individuals to buy a Savage because they are now a quality company. I cannot agree on the quality company assessment. I know I probably just got a lemon, but there is no excuse for not getting good customer warranty support. (220 serial number N512722) Junk!
