In my opinion, Marlin going to Ruger is a good thing.
Hopefully, Hopefully, they can bring the quality of the 1895 and the 336 back to pre Remington days.
Too good of rifles to fall to the wayside.
aka , as in the 99.
Before anyone beats me up for liking the Marlin, I have five 99,s and would pick one before a Marlin.
Just my 2 cents.
