Mag body for DBM issue

I'm having a problem attaching the mag body to the mag bottom. The little retaining tab on the side of the bottom doesn't quite match up to the hole in the mag body by only a couple thousands. I'm converting a 116FHSS to DBM. I purchased the necessary parts from savage and now I'm stuck trying to get the body to snap in but I don't think it will. Think I'll probably have to contact Savage CS. Hate to have to mod the body to make it fit besides the SS mag bottom metal has a blem in it that should have been caught by QC. Opinions?

Curious, what did they do? Is this the Savage DBM or AICS?

This was a conversion to the DBM. According to CS the base should have matched up with the holes in the box but for some reason they weren't. Besides there was an issue with a blemish in the finish of the base. (Stainless) We agreed that Savage CS would send me a complete mag and I will return to them the base plus my box and follower. I should be getting it tomorrow.
