    Source for 4.27 stocks?

Looks like the old 4.27 stocks are getting harder to find.

Seems like the "tactical" styles are available here and there but looking for a quality hunting style- thoughts?

If you have some wood working skills you could build your own. Or, if you know someone who does you might be able to have them cut out the the shape you want and you could finish the carving yourself. I couldn't really find anything I liked for my Model 12 either, so I decided to see if I could just make one myself. I am a novice wood worker and it really wasn't all that difficult; band-saw, hand plane, some chisels and files are all you really need. The nice thing is you can make them exactly the way you want them and have the satisfaction of producing something yourself.

Pretty simple to modify the action screw spacing either direction by oversizing the holes and installing (or re-installing) pillars in the correct location, you're moving them only .130

True- but I have a few weeks until my barrel is done so thought I would try to find a 4.27 stock.

I've got one for you, new in box. Hardwood stock, blind stagger feed mag style. I"ll pm you.

Edit: Guess I need to brush up on my reading comprehension, you're looking for a composite stock and mine is hardwood. Please disregard.

ProMag should've patterned those stocks for AICS mags.
Their original stock- for the Mosin-Nagant- was groundbreaking in that it was the first (and only) way to get a DBM paired with that action due to their proprietary mag.

The stocks are a good value, adjustable comb and buttplate for cheap- but the proprietary mags are a consideration.

    JMO, YMMV

Interesting find thanks for the link

Still planning to stick with the blind mag and more of the M40 type design.

Glad I didn't pitch the factory stock for now- may end up running it longer than I expected.

Unfortunately B&C only have their "tactical" style stock in the 4.27 spacing and blind mag. Their M40, which is a style I would be interested in- is not offered.

    Source for 4.27 stocks?

    H-S Precision carries a 4.27 stock

Don’t know your budget, but Manners would probably be able to
    lay one up for you.

Ended up going with the Hogue Overmold with the full aluminum bedding block.

Awesome stock, fit and finish are great, really like the bedding block. Stock is very rigid even when being pushed around/twisted on a bipod.

Great feel to the overmold, good balance and geometry, couldn't be happier with it
