    Savage Target Action

So, I think I need a Savage single shot Target Action with the Red A-trigger, but they only come in large shank. All my custom barrels are regular shank so I am SOL, right? Is there any chance the Efie at the Savage Custom Shop could help me?

Is the LRPV a large shank action?

Northland sells this, but is currently out of stock. http://northlandshooterssupply.com/w...X-MAGAZINE.jpg

Apparently available in a blind center feed easily made into a single shot.

EDIT: the link is a large shank target action, so disregard. A call to Jim may give some options though.
Banning a gun will not solve what is a mental health crisis inflamed by incendiary rhetoric on social and television media. The first amendment in this case is less precious and more likely the causal factor than the second amendment.

    Yep. All are large shank.

SOL. A varmint action is not a bad option but it is not a target action. Get a Bighorn. All your barrels will fit.

Is the Bighorn a Rem. clone so the Jewell trigger would fit? Thank you so much Robinhood!

It has a Remington footprint if that is what you are asking. Interchangeable bolt heads, Control round feed and standing ejector. All Remington triggers will work as far as I know. Some stocks may need to be clearance for the wider lug on the tl3. The origin is a great value with a seperate lug...may fit any stock depending on the profile.

I have a Bighorn TL3 single shot and am very pleased with it. The folks at Bighorn Arms were very helpful in answering my questions about triggers and stock fitments.

Wrote Bighorn yesterday and got an answer this morning. Rem 700 footprint, Origin all have a mag cutout. Got something to dream about.

    Thanks everybody,
