Just found this site today, but have been shooting Savages for a long time. I just recently acquired a 110 blindmag in .243 to allow my kids to do some deer hunting without having to deal with my 30-06.

I moved here to Tennessee about 1 1/2 years ago from Texas. The deer hunting is better, but the BBQ is terrible in comparison! On the bright side, I live in an area where I can shoot on my own property, and hunt in my backyard/field or neighbor's field. I also bowhunt, but not very well.

I do a lot of fishing, mostly catfish. They're the biggest and they taste the best! Just recently got into trotlining. It's a great way to fill your freezer. Speaking of freezer filling, I am trying my hand at raising a couple slaughter hogs that should be ready for processing first part of next year. By modest prediction I should be sitting on about 50lbs of bacon in about 4 months!
