    New ton the forum


    Old Savage guy. Purchased my first model 110 at Clark Air Force Base Philippine Islands in 1963, of course in 270. Have been an avid hunter and shooter all my life. USAF career allowed me to hunt in several states. Have several Savage firearms from 99 through Axis. Grandkids love the Axis line. Read that you don't research Savage 110 with a letter prefix, mine was built before then with a Serial #14XXX. Would love to know it's manufacture date. Moose are eating up my wife's outside plants, so need to go shoo them off.
