    Large shank stock question

will a large shank fit in a stock inlet-ed for a standard action . The barrel inlet will accommodate a bull barrel . Do you think it makes a difference . Will the lug fit in the same inlet .

There are two dimensions that differentiate a large shank and a small shank. The barrel threads and the internal action threads. Externally there are no differences. Barrel profiles thus barrel inlets can be different based on the barrel dimensions.

The question that needs to be answered is, "what are the barrel dimensions in front of the barrel nut?"
The Dunning-Kruger effect is alive and well.
