Help Convert Savage Stock To Stevens

Could someone with experience in converting a Savage stock to accept a Stevens 200 action and retain the center feed magazine please give me some pointers on how you successfully did it? Want to keep it as a repeater. Looks like it can be done just not sure how to do it.

You'll have to cut/file a small groove at the rear of the mag well to accept the centerfeed mag "L" bracket and drill a small hole for the screw. That would be the easiest route.

If you are talking converting a stagger feed short action to a centerfeed, it can be done but its not easy.
I would just buy or trade for the right stock.

You have to move the front action hole forward and rework the mag area for the magazine and
mill out part of the rear action area for the clip.

If its a long action the screw holes will line up , but the mag area is out of place and needs to be modified and
mill out part of the rear action area for the clip.
